He is survived by: his parent Margarete Holst Wentzel; his wife Ingeborg Wentzel; his children, John Josef Wentzel (Kellie), Erika Margarete Emigh (Gordon) and Elke Wentzel (Chris); his grandchildren, Raemee, Brendan, Kyle, Tyler, Tanner and Tori; his great grandchild Madaliene; and his sister Irmgard Margarete Alberts (Donald Services).
