He was predeceased by: his parents, Caleb Groce, and Virginia Groce, Sr. (Logsdon); and his son James "Bubby" Groce. He is survived by: his wife Florence G. Groce (Lafferty); his daughters, Florence P. "Mickey" Terpening (Keith) of Newburgh and Vivian Hughes (Danny) of Orlando, FL; and his grandchildren, Keith, Danelle, Deanna, Joshua, Jonathan, Justin and Jordan. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
