He was predeceased by: his parent Kenneth Rumsey; and his sister Cynthia Burns. He is survived by: his parent Emily Nagel Rumsey; his granddaughter Jillian Marie; his wife Paula Marie Moshinski Rumsey of Wallkill; his children, Cheral Jeanette Rumsey of Wallkill and Frank Mortimer Rumsey III of New Paltz; his siblings, Kenneth Rumsey (Cathy) of Wallkill and Cathy Carpenter of Easley, SC; and his father-in-law Ernest Hopkins of Wallkill. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
