With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donna J. Atkins of Wallkill, New York, born in Beacon, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 2, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Donna farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Donna is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nelson Fox and Janet Fox; and her brother David Fox. She is survived by: her husband Douglas Atkins of Wallkill; her son Kenneth Atkins of Pine Bush; her siblings, Mindy Turney (Ronn) of Kansas City, KS, Brenda Milkovich (Mark) of Fort Meyers, FL and Brian Fox (Christine) of Glens Falls, NY.; and her pet Molly. She is also survived by Many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Modena Rural Cemetery (2165 NY-32, Modena, NY 12548).
