He was predeceased by: his parents, John Neuwirth and Oleta Neuwirth; and his siblings, Bob, Harold, Richard and Dot.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby Neuwirth; his sisters, Mary Jane, Shirley and Janet; and his children, John, Larry, Joanne and Jeanne. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
