He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Coykendall and Grace Coykendall; his siblings, Roy, Arthur Coykendall, Bitsy Kirk and Lynn Coykendall; and his grandson Ken McKay.
He is survived by: his significant other Barbara Palinkas of Walker Valley; his children, Kelli Ann Coykendall (Bo) of Marietta, Georgia, James Michael Coykendall (Sheila) of Leeds, Alabama and Daniel Charles Coykendall (Kelly) of Buffalo, NY.; his grandsons, Daniel Richard Coykendall and Jeremy Hunter Coykendall; his great grandchildren, Daniel James Coykendall and Louis Gabriel Coykendall; and his grandchildren, Sydney, Alyssa, Jovan, Meryl Palinkas, John Carnevali, Sam and Gideon Levine.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. (1525 Burlingham Rd, Pine Bush, NY 12566).
