He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Spencer and Arvila "Toby" Davenport; his son Jeffery Spencer; his brother Richard Spencer; his nephew Richard Stuhmer; and his nieces, Roxsann Petty and Ronda O'Donnell.

He is survived by: his wife Selena "Sally" Spencer; his daughter Jacqueline R. Spencer of Walden; his sister Carol Stuhmer of Walden; his grandchildren, Kayla Spencer, Jeffery Spencer Jr., Alexis Rodriguez and Justin Medina; and his great grandchildren, Zoey Spencer and Amaya Ferrell.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home (39 Orchard St, Walden, NY 12586). A prayer will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the same location.
