He is survived by: his wife Dolores Parisi Rooney; his children, Laura Barron (Robert) of Voorheesville, NY, Michele Rooney (Fernando) of Mahwah, NJ and Thomas Rooney Jr. (Thomas) of Yorktown Heights, NY; his grandchildren, Stephen Barron (Sarah) and Rebecca Barron; and his siblings, Patricia Lawrence of Rexford, NY, Carolyn Hartnett (Michael) of Clifton Park, NY, Catherine Rooney of Coxsackie, NY, Jane Laundree (James) of Ticonderoga, NY and David Rooney (Diane) of Saratoga Springs, NY..
