With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Tawanna Pizarro (Walden, New York), born in Manhattan, New York, who passed away on October 29, 2019 at the age of 57. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harrison Nelson and Dolores Johnson Nelson; and her brothers, Harrison Nelson and Malcolm Black. She is survived by: her husband Steven Pizarro; her children, Tishyla Nelson of Middletown, NY, Tamantha Pizarro of Walden, NY, Steven Pizarro Jr. of Arizona, Jovan Pizarro of Arizona and Ivan Pizarro of Walden, NY; her siblings, Sabrina Harris (Ronald) of Michigan, Ondre Nelson of West Virginia, Monica Black-Goodman of Bronx, NY, Jasmin King (Duane) of Texas, Nadinea McKay of Maryland and Daverena White of Maryland; and her grandchildren, Tavysla, Romereo and Tiana Walker. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
