In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Tan had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Tan may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He is survived by: his wife Cuc Kim Duong; and his children, Thanh Duong (Melissa Lavides, family: Lily Duong, Kelly Duong, Tommy Duong), Kevin Duong (family: Linda Cao, Angela Duong, Megan Duong, Tracey Duong), Dao Duong (family: Mary Duong Vianna Duong), Mai Hoang (family: An Hoang, Sophia Hoang) and Lan Huynh (family: Freddy Palma, Zara Huynh).
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home (39 Orchard St, Walden, NY 12586). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Most Precious Blood Church (42 Walnut St, Walden, NY 12586). A burial was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Wallkill Valley Cemetery.
