He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Ann Medley; his mother Jean Marie (MacMillan); his parents-in-law, Clifford D. and Gladys Sawner (Burns); and his sister-in-law Phyllis K. Medley.
He is survived by: his father Elmer Austin Medley; his children, Douglas Austin Medley, Sue Ann Medley, John William Medley and Cynthia Marie Evanetski (David); his daughter-in-law Jenny Privatera Medley; his grandchildren, Emily Jean Medley Castilleja (John), Allison Marie Medley, Jacob Austin Medley, Ainsley Marie Evanetski and Cassidy Medley Evanetski; his great grandchild River Michael Castilleja; his siblings, Bonnie Presowitz (Delos) and Douglas J. Medley; his sisters-in-law, Kathryn Sawner and Joyce Howard (David); his nieces, Denice Howard Long (Steven), Brenda Howard Hicks (Robert), Bonnie Jean Marie Presowitz and Annamarie Presowitz Polito (Rick); and his nephew Jonathan Medley (Beverly). He is also survived by 15 great nephews and nieces.
