She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles D. Sutherland and Hattie VanWagenen Sutherland; her brother Edwin Sutherland; and her nephew Freddy Ronk. She is survived by: her son James DeNault of Monticello; and her sister Reta Bakas (Gus) of Walden.

Memorial contribution may be made to Sullivan County ARC.
