He is survived by: his close friend Kathleen Gorton; his children, Barbara (Huey), Leroy Jr. (Linda), Ronald Sr. (Lisa), Robert (Kecia), David (Dina), Larry, Jason (Kelley), Jessica and Michael (Tina); his grandchildren, Austin, Coltin, Rhiannon, Jahrett, Joshua, John Phillip, Hunter, Megan, Morgan, Nicholas, Victoria, David, Dylan, Daniel, Brody, Ronald III, Jon, Danielle, Kelsey, Haley and Ethan; and his siblings, Katherine Wood, Edward DeGroodt (Alice) and Helen Schoonmaker. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
