He is survived by: his parents, Jeffrey A. Shapiro (Leslie) and Pamela Amerige (Vogt); his close friend Lori Caparaso; his siblings, Saul (Clare Lawler) and Terri Pauselius (Dan); his stepsister Mercedes Bloat; his nieces, Isabel, Sarah, Anna, Elizabeth and Natalya; and his nephew Aidan.

Due to Covid restrictions, funeral and memorial services will be held privately.
