Elwood F. Gorton Jr. Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elwood F. Gorton Jr. of Walden, New York, who passed away on January 6, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elwood Gorton and Mary Gorton (Colligan); his wife Doreen Gorton; and his brother Ralph Gorton. He is survived by: his children, Vicki Pelella (Chris Pelella) of Wallkill, NY and Gregory Gorton (Alison Gorton) of Ballston Spa, NY; his grandchildren, Andrew, Dominic, Hannah and Alissa; and his siblings, Robert Gorton (Gail) of Daytona Beach and Kathleen Gorton of Albany. He is also survived by many other family members and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Millspaugh Funeral Directors (22 Bank St, Walden, NY 12586). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
