She was predeceased by: her parents, Elwood Lockerby and Leda VanBlake Lockerby. She is survived by: her children, Stephen Dederick of Middletown, NY and Linda M. Dederick of Walden, NY; her grandchildren, Shawn (Danielle), Adam (Nina) and Casey; and her great grandchildren, Nathaniel and Alexander.

Memorial contributions may be made in Dorla's name to the Orange County Arboretum.
