He was predeceased by: his brother David G. Farrell. He is survived by: his parents, Ray Farrell and Carole Farrell (Loomer); his wife Lori Farrell; his children, Amy Quinn (Mike), Dennis Farrell, Todd and Michael Sutherland; his grandchildren, Declan, Brigid, Garrett Quinn, Ava and Cameron Sutherland; his brothers, Ray (Eileen), Mike (Marta) and Andy; and his nieces, Suzanne, Betsy, Kathleen, Kelsey and Colleen Farrell.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Dennis' honor to: St Baldrick's Foundation Childhood Cancer Research Charity or Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
