He was predeceased by: his father James Sherwin; and his brother James Sherwin. He is survived by: his wife Paula Hughes Sherwin; his sons, Aaron Sherwin (Samantha) of Walden and Christopher D. Sherwin of Middletown; his siblings, Daniel "Danny" Sherwin of Latham, Timothy Sherwin (Donna) of Ravena, Christine "Chrissy" Toma of Latham and Mary Ann Gantt (Derek) of Latham; and his grandson James Sherwin of Walden. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
