Winifred H. Childs Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Winifred H. Childs of Voorheesville, New York, born in Olean, New York, who passed away on November 19, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Harrison and Mae Phearsdorf Harrison; her husband William L. Childs; her siblings, Ivan Harrison and Lois Jennings; and her grandson Joshua Winn.
She is survived by: her children, Ellen Childs (Michael Nix) of Albany, Matthew Childs of Voorheesville and Susan Burns (Gary) of Bovina Center, NY; and her grandchildren, Jessie (Jessica), Ellie (Kyle), Alex (Tristan Welton), Betsy (Tyler Richardson), Zach, Nick, Luke (Ariel), Sarah (Trevor Spencer) and Julia (Dan Keher). She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
