He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth W. Spence and Isabel R. Spence (Temte); and his sister Shirley Ann Pumroy (Spence). He is survived by: his wife Kay "Andy" Spence; and his daughter Hannah Spence (Neil Parsons). He is also survived by two nieces, and a nephew.
