It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Reinhard F. Welker (Voorheesville, New York), born in Mount Vernon, New York, who passed away on September 10, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Reinhard Welker and Helen Welker (Farrell); and his son Michael. He is survived by: his wife Donna Welker (Gorman); his daughter Amy Flannery (Matt); his grandsons, Brayden Flannery and Connor Flannery of Massapequa, NY; and his sister Ellen Gordinier of Bostic, NC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the Reilly & Son Funeral Home, Voorheesville Friday from 4 - 7 p.m.

For those who wish, a memorial donation may be made to the Albany VA Medical Center, Att: Voluntary Services, 113 Holland Ave., Albany, NY 12208 (checks should be made payable to: Albany VA Medical Center and memo should say: Personal Comfort. These funds will go to the needs of Vets in the hospital) or a donation may be made to a charity of one's choice.
