It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Wilcove of Voorheesville, New York, born in Utica, New York, who passed away on May 14, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathan Wilcove and Rose Cohen Wilcove; and his siblings, Myles Wilcove, Selene Barbara Nadler (Jerry), Edward Wilcove (Madaline) and Elaine Wilcove.
He is survived by: his children, Amy Scoons (Curt) of Glenmont, David Wilcove of Crested Butte, Neil Wilcove (Wendy Dell) of Atlanta and Georgia; his grandchildren, Ben and Clare Wilcove; his stepgrandchildren, Sydney and Olivia Dell; and his sister Deanna Langer (Laura Cohen). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
