It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan C. Flynn of Voorheesville, New York, born in Walton, New York, who passed away on November 3, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles VanderVoort and Marian VanderVoort; her husband Joseph "Tom" Flynn; her sister Judith Syron; and her daughter Susan M. Flynn.
She is survived by: her children, Karen E. Flynn, John (Patty), Mary Jane Gallo (Frank) and Catherine Zimmermann (Ray); her grandchildren, John (Chrissy), Brendan, Padraic (Lauren), Joseph Flynn, Mary Frances, Anthony, Michael Gallo, Susan Hill (Nate) and Meghan Gallagher (Michael); and her great grandchildren, Sullivan Hill and Graham Flynn. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
