She was predeceased by: her parents, Lillian Sterling and John Sterling; and her brothers, Jim and Jack Sterling. She is survived by: her husband Donald King; her children, Steve King (Margaret), Kevin King (late Karen), Dennis King (Patty) and Maureen King Gadbois (Jonathan); her grandchildren, Erin Biddle (Mike), Caitlin Oberwager (Andrew), Shannon King, Keegan King and Morgan Gadbois; and her great grandchildren, Addison, Brenden, Cameron and Charlotte.
