He was predeceased by: his son Edward Jr.; his son-in-law Torrance Prescott; his parents, Francis Poulin and Helen Poulin (Beattie); his siblings, Andrew "Pete", William "Billy", Marion Fischer, Elizabeth Rosso (Joe), Helen DeBonis (Frank) and Margaret Bartini (Joe); and his sister-in-law Sandra Spazioso.
He is survived by: his wife Mary (Spazioso); his daughters, Nanci of Pittsfield, MA, Julie of Albany, NY, Wendy Halsdorf (Bruce) of Guilderland, Laurie of Schaghticoke, NY and Mary Beth Noble (David) of Albany, NY; his grandchildren, Thomas Cook (Stephanie), Leah Palmer (Zachary), Jessica Horan (Brendan), Julie Ryan (John), Kali Noble and Justin Prescott; his great grandchildren, Joshua Cook and Hunter Ryan; and his brothers-in-law, Anthony (late Mary) and David Spazioso (Eileen). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
