He is survived by: his parent Jessie Merritt Derby; his children, Henry Derby (Christina) of Hadley, George Derby (Neila) of Kittery Point, ME, Peter Derby (Ul Im) of South Berwick, ME, Larry Derby (Brenda) of Schuylerville and Ruth Derby of South Berwick, ME; his sister Helen Purinton; and his grandchildren, Henry J. Derby, Karin Ohly, Owen Derby, Grace Derby, Gwendolyn Derby, Jessica Phillips, Sarah Hegener, Kimberly Derby, Scott Derby, James Derby and Jason Derby. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
