He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Gordon Berndt and Mildred Berndt; his wife Jean Pennings; his children, Don (Macedon), Kathy, Deb (Victor) and Sue (Arkansas); his sister-in-law Ann; and his nephew Scott. He was also cherished by 6 grandkids and 8 great grandchildren.
