With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas W. Shaffer (Victor, New York), who passed away on December 31, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Beverly Francis Hill; and his children, Karen Miller, Douglas (Bonnie), Craig (Bette) and Christine Roling (Bert). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

His love of animals led him to donate his time to Seneca Park Zoo where he had the chance to interact with the animals.
