He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Thon and Audrey West Thon (House); his wife Patricia A. Spuck; his parents-in-law, Robert and Mary Spuck; and his sister-in-law Roberta Saunders.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff (Nancy Markus) of Penfield, Scott (Terri Maher) of Victor, Kate of Fairport, Lynda Koehler (Chris) of Hornell, Laurie Beardsley (Don) of Georgetown, KY, Tracy Till (Dave) of Pittsford and Steve Boissavy (Nathalie) of Owings, MD.; his girlfriend Mary Ellen Gallagher; and his brother Glenn Thon (Joyce) of Victor. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and many family friends.
Due to pandemic restrictions, a private family service will be held at Jennings, Nulton and Mattle Funeral Home, followed by interment at White Haven Cemetery.
