He was predeceased by: his parents, William Carden and Ruth Carden (Parker); and his brothers-in-law, Richard Paetzold (Doris) and Robert Paetzold (Jacqueline). He is survived by: his wife Lela Paetzold Carden; his children, Timothy, Daniel (Cynthia), Kevin (Mary), Sean (Aimee Lewis) and Ruthanne Bulman (Michael); his grandchildren, T. J., Ryan, Matthew, Megan (Melissa Carden), Kyle (Corey Carden), Patrick (Julia Carden), Morgan, Jacob (Samuel Bulman), Halie, Luke (Jack Carden) and McKenzie Lewis (Jada Crane); his great grandchildren, Leland and Maddox; and his friend Esther Donovan. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid 19 Guidelines masks are required both in the funeral home and the church, with social distancing being observed also.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Vestal Volunteer Emergency Squad.
