He was predeceased by: his wife Freda; and his parents, Kurt Hein and Elizabeth Hein. He is survived by: his sons, Steven Hein (Fran) of Longmont and W. Charles "Chuck" Hein Jr. (Teri) of Vestal; his granddaughters, Jennifer Costantino (Greg) of Newtown and Stacey Hein of Binghamton; his great grandchildren, Jonathan, Joseph and Anthony Costantino of Newtown; and his sister-in-law Dianna Dudar of Vestal. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
