Shantha Datta Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shantha Datta of Vestal, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 15, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Shantha farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Shantha is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Pranab Datta. She is survived by: her children, Bina and Bijoy Datta (Valerie); her grandsons, Ajay and Nikhil; and her sister Dr. Thungum Joseph. She is also survived by many relatives and friends.
