It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert F. Walters of Vestal, New York, born in Binghamton, New York, who passed away on February 25, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence and Regina; and his siblings, Dr. John Walters (Ann) and Sister Mary Lawrence Walters. He is survived by: his wife Lorna Leonard; his children, Mary Ellen Fodera (Joseph), Tom (Melissa), Mark (Jill) and Maureen Yacynych (John); his grandchildren, Lauren, Stephanie Fodera, Alyssa Breznak (Shane), Walter, Jenna Yacynych, Katie, Patrick, Emma and Peyton Walters; and his great grandchild Mila Breznak.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the J. A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, Inc. (141 Main St, Binghamton, NY 13905). A Mass will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Vincent de Paul Blessed Sacrament Church (465 Clubhouse Rd, Vestal, NY 13850). A burial will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at the Calvary Cemetery (501 Fairview St, Johnson City, NY 13790).
