It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Martinek of Vestal, New York, who passed away on August 19, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Frank Martinek; her son Frankie Martinek; her parents, Floyd Moulton and Marion Moulton; and her close friend Tony Honicky.
She is survived by: her sisters, Lois Kelley of Lakeland, FL, Judy Hessler (John) and Kathy Gallagher Vestal (Joe); her children, Brenda Karika Whitney Point (Paul), Kevin Landon Newark Valley, Craig Landon Vestal, Melody McGuire Vestal (Greg) and Penney Abildness Apalachin (Jeffrey); her grandchild Nineteen; her close friends, Joan Reed and Rose Mizera; and also, Brandon Cady (Melissa), Jared Cady (Jesseca) and Eric Cady (Meaghan). She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
