It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Phoebe Liss of Vestal, New York, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on January 13, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Julius A. Fox and Gertrude Fox (Goldberg); her children, Michael of Black Mountain, NC, Andrew of Vestal, NY, Leslie of Hendersonville, NC., Phoebe and Ed; her husband Sheldon Liss; her siblings, Shirley Greene and Irwin "Sonny" Fox of Sherman Oaks, CA; her daughters, Marcia Liss and Christine Liss; and her grandchildren, Aaron, Jonathan, Jeremy, Molly Personius (Matt) and Rachel.

Although Alzheimer's greatly diminished the quality of her life over the past 15 years, her death at 91, was due to Covid-19.
