She was predeceased by: her parents, Byron Floyd Page and Pearl Page (Tyrrell); her husband William A. "Bill" Benson; her siblings, Clifford and Viola Hoopes; her granddaughter Kristin Carpenter; her son-in-law Art Carpenter; and her friend Ruth Mead.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Carpenter of Clarence, NY, Sandra Ahearn (John Ahearn) of Clover, SC and William Garth Benson of Vestal; her grandchildren, Tracy Langlotz (Carpenter) of Clarence, Nathaniel Ahearn of Mountain View, CA and Brian Ahearn of Charlotte, NC.; her stepgrandchildren, Tim Ahearn, Christine Tanguay (Ahearn) and Allison Fuller (Ahearn); her great grandchildren, Maddy, Ben, Jackson Langlotz, Asher, Arden Ahearn, Keegan, Colin Tanguay and Hayden Fuller; and her friends, Jane Cash (Dewey) and Cortland.
