With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lucille J Roberts (Vestal, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 22, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Maxfield and Edith Maxfield; her siblings, Alice Sweitzer, Marilyn Steinmetz and Edward Maxfield; her husbands, Robert Knapp and Stanley Roberts; her son Keith Knapp; her stepson Craig Roberts; and her grandson Paul Shaffer.
She is survived by: her sister Ellen Fogle; her children, Warren Knapp (Terry), Susan Orzell (Bill), Lois Shaffer (Dave), Thomas Knapp and Cindy Holmes (Rick); her stepchildren, Cindy Phelps (Brent), Andrew Roberts (Patti) and Karen Roberts; her siblings-in-law, Jeannette Chernega and David Knapp; and her aunt Joan Drum.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Riverhurst Cemetery (2500 E Main St, Endwell, NY 13760). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at the same location.
Donations, in lieu of flowers, should be sent to West Endicott Baptist Church.
