He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah Vargason and Robert Vargason; his stepmother Anna Vargason; his brother Joseph Vargason; his stepbrother Walter McHale; and his great grandchildren, Cynthia Isabelle, Cody and Kyle.
He is survived by: his significant other Helen Vargason; his children, Edward Vargason (Cathy), William Vargason (Carol), Robert Vargason Pervenecki (Peggy), Cheryl Alich (Joe) and Deborah Vargason Blickley (Wayne); his grandchildren, Kimberly, Tamara, Ronald, Shane, Tami, Stacey, Dustin, Wendy, Crystal, Heather, Kevin, Gretchen, Megan, Cody, Corbit, Andrew, Brian and Jeremy; and his nieces, JoAnn and Darlene. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandsons.
