He was predeceased by: his mother Hilda Dougherty; his wife Helen Weaver; his father Edwin Dougherty Sr.; and his brothers, John and George.
He is survived by: his children, Dan (Gail) of Portland, OR, Michael of Syracuse, NY, Pat Van Wezenbeeck (John) of Endicott, NY, Tim (Pam) of Endicott, NY and Cathy Shore (Mark) of Salem, NH. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to the food pantry at Our Lady of Sorrows.
