He was predeceased by: his wife Marie Helms (Benson); his parents, William Sr. and Florence Helms, Sr. (Shaefer); his siblings, Williams Helms, Jr., Betty Chamberlin (Helms) and Ann Brink (Helms); his brothers-in-law, William Sauls, Richard Brink, Barbara and Cheri; and his nephews, Michael and Joseph.
He is survived by: his siblings, Sue Sauls (Helms) of Chenango Bridge, Fay Baier (Helms), William Baier and Kenneth Helms; his sister-in-law Charlotte Helms (Allen) of Hilltop; his significant other John; and also Sandra Helms (Fish) of Englewood, FL.
