He was predeceased by: his wife Dr. Grace Lemke Houghton; his son Edward Wilfred Houghton; and his siblings, Joyce, Sherron and Billy.
He is survived by: his daughters, Ellen Clay and Emily Gast (Richard); his daughter-in-law Rebecca Houghton; and his brothers, Kent (Diana) and Pat (Kathy). He is also survived by ten grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (305 Murray Hill Rd, Vestal, NY 13850).
