Carl G. Janis Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carl G. Janis of Vestal, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 15, 2025 at the age of 92. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernice Janis and William Janis; his wife Bunny; and his brothers, Robert, William (Junior) and Michael.
He is survived by: his sister Bernadine Berk; and his children, William Karafiat, Robert Janis (Sally), Eric Janis (Kim), Endwell of New York, Donna Mott and Lodi of New York. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, ten great- grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of Sorrows Church (801 Main St, Vestal, NY 13850). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
