He was predeceased by: his grandson Ryan Yanik; and his parents, Engelbert Matolka and Ann Matolka. He is survived by: his children, Debra Hoecker (John) of Oceanside, Michael Matolka (Myrna), Richard Matolka (Karen), Lisa Matolka (Shane), Brian Matolka (Sandy) and Severn, MD. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
