He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward L. Sprague and Isabelle Sprague (Snyder); and his siblings, Edward Sprague Jr., Kenneth Sprague, Evelyn Maines and Ruth Westlund.
He is survived by: his children, Diane Suraf (Wesley) of Perrysburg, Daniel Sprague (Jane) of Irving and William Sprague (Charisse) of Keystone Heights, FL.; his grandchildren, Melissa Sprague, Steven Suraf, Daniel Sprague Jr. (Michele), Jessica LaChausse (Dale), Devon Sprague (Megan), Damen Sprague (Dani) and Tianna Kiener (Stephen); and his great grandchildren, Dominic, Bailey Suraf, Sophia, Trevor LaChausse, Michaela, Kylee, Mora, Macie Sprague and Lucius Kiener. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church - Gowanda (40 S Chapel St, Gowanda, NY 14070).
