He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicola Campea and Maria Campea (Traditi); his son Mauro Campea; and his grandson Mark Campea. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Campea (Serafino).

Visitation was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Edward F. Carter Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick's Church (240 11th St, Verplanck, NY 10596).
