It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley A. Netzband (Verona, New York), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on February 25, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ned E. Stanton and Mildred Stanton (Petrie); her husband Ronald C. Netzband; her siblings, Wayne Stanton and Karen Muscarella; her daughter Christine; her grandson Bryan; and her sons, Michael (Gretchen) of Missouri City, TX, Philip (Mary) of Rome, NY, Charles (Julie) of Oneida, NY, Jeffrey (Karen) of Macedon, NY, Ronald Jr. (Wendy) of Munnsville, NY and Thomas (Karen) of Verona, NY.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Arlene Netzband. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church or the New London Fire Dept.
