She was predeceased by: her parents, Llewllyn S. (Lynn) and Mary E. Evans; her husband George F. Bowers, Jr.; her sister Marjorie; her brother-in-law Jack Schultz; her brothers, Robert and Arvon Evans; and her sister-in-law Linda Evans.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen O'Dell (Richard) and Kathy Scott; her grandchildren, Kristen Wilczek, Cassandra Race (Ken), Zachary Esser of David Bowers, M. D., Ryan Bowers, Alyssa Bowers, Michael Green (Catherine) and Kendra Green; and her great grandchildren, Kyle, Kaylan, Charlotte, Caleb, Wyatt and Adalynn.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Barry Funeral Home (807 W Chestnut St, Rome, NY 13440). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
