He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Benjamin Thorp and Florence Dam Thorp; his spouse Muriel Greer; his sons, Stephen Thorp (Shannon Curtin) of Westmoreland, Jeffrey (Margaret Fetzko) of Earlville and Russell (Renee Parker) of Orange Park, Florida; his significant other Donna Brummer of Vernon; and his brother Douglas Thorp (Shirley) of Vernon Center. He was also cherished by six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
