He was predeceased by: his brother Emil; and his siblings-in-law, Philip W. and Freida Wenzel of Vernon, NY.. He is survived by: his wife Irma Engler; his children, Jay Jonza (Florence Cecilia) of New York Mills, NY, James Jonza (Nancy Lee) of Lake Elmo, MN, Christine Randall (Brian) of Vernon, NY, Janet Lewis (Robert) of Henrietta, NY, Jeannemarie Fess (James) of Fairport, NY and Jeryl Reitzel (Michael) of Syracuse, NY; his brother-in-law Robert Engler (Joan); his nephew Philip H. Wenzel (Crystal); and his niece Wendy Mierek (John). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Soaring Valor (Gary Sinise Foundation) or the National World War II Museum in Jack's memory.
