She was predeceased by: her parents, William Freeman and Gertrude Freeman (Gay); and her son Neil P. "Nelson" Block. She is survived by: her husband Arnold R. "Arnie" Block; her children, Daniel Block of Arvada, CO, Marlene (Wade Adkinson), Paulette (Lewis "Bill" Obit), Cynthia Block-Taylor of Matthews, NC and Kathleen (Raymond Nowicki); and her sister Alice Frazier of Watkins Glen. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
